See you again soon!

After visiting Salida for years and staying at several other locations in the area I have found the only place I want to recommend to visitors to our mountains. As a Colorado native serving visitors in many capacities this is the first location that has the given ability to care for guests. If you’re interested in cruising the highways and byways of our state this is a centrally located town (Salida) with a number of enjoyable pleasures from sitting on the bank of the river watching kayaks to hiking, biking and grabbing a camera for photos of the wildlife. This charming motel is located on Highway 50 East heading toward Royal Gorge. Though located on the highway I found the night traffic sounds were not intrusive of my sleep – as I keep my window open all night. Irene is a gracious hostess as the Owner/Operator of this unique motel. If you pass it by with a “vacancy” sign light on then you are missing the only chance to know mountain hospitality at its best. See you again soon!
